Legal Question in DUI Law in District of Columbia

I was arrested for DUI yesterday in Washington DC. It's my first offense. My BrAC was 0.15. I have a court date in two weeks. What are the possible consequences. I'm trying to find out the laws for DUI in DC and what the possible outcome will be.

If it's a first offense, if convicted, most likely you will be given a $300 fine and a period of probation as long as there was no accident/injury. You could be sentenced to up to 90 days but that is very unlikely. If your BAC was a little lower, you may have been eligible for for diversion, but a .15 is too high. Also, your license in all likelihood will be suspended by the DMV (a separate proceeding, and automatic if you do not request a hearing within 10 days [or 5 days if you live in DC]).

But you should definitely get a lawyer, because sometimes there are problems with the government's case that can lead to dismissal or a reduction of the charge.
