Get Amancipated from Your Child

What would I have to do to get amancipated from my god son that I have legal custody of.

You could take the matter back before the Family Court that gave you custody and request that you be relieved of legal custody of the child and that, perhaps, another relative be appointed as his legal custodian. (If no such relative can be found, then you could

contact Child & Family Services to determine the feasibilty of having the child placed in foster care.)
