common law marrige

I have lived with my common law husband for 25 years. And now he wants to leave me for another woman. Am i in titled to palamony and child support?

Yes, you (as well as your child[ren]could be entitled to the benefits that any spouse would be entitled to whom had been issued a regular marriage license, but in order to make that determination, many more relevant facts regarding your particular marital situation would necessarily have to be evaluated.

And, whatever you may be entitled to under DC law and under these particular facts and circumstances, it would not be called "palimony".
