Is there a code of professional responsibility for a lawyer to stall the system by not having his schedule in court

I'm afraid this sort of inefficiency isn't specifically covered by the CPR. Usually when this happens, the lawyer is able to get his/her schedule quickly for the purpose of setting future dates, so it's not a major problem.
