mentally ill wife to seek custody

I am the father of my son. My wife has bipolar disorder and has abused me both physically and verbally. She has threatened me as well. Our son is in Michigan and I am in DC and my wife is in Orlando FL. My fear is for the well being of my son aaron that he will be safe

If your son has legally resided in Michigan six months or more, the courts in that state would likely have to decide the issue of custody(assuming that is the issue you have in mind)on the basis of what supposedly is in his best interests.
