Legal Question in Family Law in District of Columbia

If I obtained a marraige license in Fairfax County, VA, but the marriage ceremony was performed within the Washington, DC city limits, is the marriage legally binding? Am I legally married?

Va. Code Sec. 20.37.1 states: "All marriages solemnized outside this Commonwealth by a minister authorized to celebrate the rites of marriage in the Commonwealth, under a license issued in this Commonwealth, and showing on the application therefor the place out of this Commonwealth where the said marriage is to be performed, shall be valid as if such marriage had been performed in this Commonwealth."
