Legal Question in Family Law in District of Columbia

what are MY rights?

My husband is being taken to court for child support. I am treated like a second class citizen by the courts and by my husband. I want to know what rights the wife and family of this man have? Am I allowed to stand next to my husband in court? If this child has to visit my home am I allowed to be in the counseling sessions with this woman and my husband? Is there something that my husband and I can do to keep the interaction between him and this woman as limited as possible?

Re: what are MY rights?

No, normally you would not be permitted to stand next to your husband and his lawyer at the defense table. And, I doubt that you would be permitted to attend and/or participate in such counseling sessions as mentioned unless both parties had agreed to it.

As for your last question, you could cause trouble

for your husband with the court if you aren't careful as to how you may go about limiting "the interaction between him and this woman", and therefore you would appear well advised to discuss whatever you have in mind with his attorney before

attempting any measures in this regard.
