F-1 overtstay fix

I came legally to finish high school and then enrolled in college (thus obtaining F-1). Dropped out in my second year, subsequently going out-of-status. I have been living in US for 14 years. My citizen girlfriend recommends marriage. Any options worth looking into? I haven't traveled out since and have a SS#, DL...

If Department of Homeland Secuity catches up with you here, you'll very likely be subject to removal proceedings and an automatic 10 year bar from the country.

Other than staying with the problematical status quo, it would appear that your only opportunity to obtain lawful permanent residency status(green card) would be for you to clandestinely depart from the U.S. and return to your home country and allow your fiance to initiate sponsorship of a fiance visa for you from there or other initiatives for you to obtain a valid visa to the United States which could eventually lead to a green card.
