Legal Question in Immigration Law in District of Columbia

How Long is the Process

My N-400 forms (application for citizenship) were received by INS in october 2003. Recently, 4/5/05, I was called for fingerprinting at their center and I went in for the same.

As a resident of Northern Virginia, do we know how long I have to wait until the completion of the whole process. I realize, this could be a guess work at best, but I would like to get an intelligent guess as to when I will become a citizen. Please help.

Re: How Long is the Process

Your local United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office of the Department of Homeland Security located on Fairfax Drive in Arlington, Virginia, should be able to provide you with a reasonable estimate as to the time frame involved in your particular petition for citizenship.
