Legal Question in Immigration Law in District of Columbia
removal of condition and remarry- one more time
I know I shouldn't have remarried while waiting for my removal of condition then but I'd still need help with my situation, please. You're saying I would be probably denied. What can I do after then? Do i have to start everything from the very beginning of the process with my new wife? If I don't report anything , does immigration still know about it (divorce/new marriage)? Thank you for your help!

Re: removal of condition and remarry- one more time
Okay, if you get by without an interview, and the conditions are removed on the basis of your I-750, then you are lucky. It is likely, however, that you will get an interview; at that point, either you must request to self-apply because you married in good faith, but your spouse was abusive, mentally insane, or something that created a bad situation that you did not anticipate -- or you go to the interview, they deny the removal of the condition, and you may end up in immigration court. If you do end up in immigration court, you can renew your application to obtain the removal without your ex-spouse, or start all over again with your new spouse. The choices are tough, but I need more information. It may help if you consult with a good immigration attorney to see if there are some options BEFORE you end up having to defend yourself in court. Good luck!
