Legal Question in Employment Law in District of Columbia

on 10/05/09 i filed a discrimination complaint on my employer through the company eeo (private sector), on 11/30/09 i was fired on a fabrication that i broke one of company policies. the manager that made the accusation was just caught in a lie to upper management that could have endangered people. he has no witness, no proof, no evidence, but i have proof that another employee did break the same rule that i was accused of and he did not even get written up, and i was fired. is there anyone that could hear my case on a pro-bono. they took xmas from my family and the accusation is one that could cause my license, my livelihood.

Unfortunately, unless you were working under the protection of a contract or

collective bargaining type of agreement and your firing did not involve one or

more of the enumerated protected categories under federal anti-discrimination

law such as race, ethnicity, age, religion, gender, etc. you are probably without

a remedy in the employment at will jurisdiction known as the

Commonwealth of Virginia.
