Recourse?
I was promised a raise and bonus in writing for getting a contract renewed for my employer. Several months have passed since renewal and he continues to stonewall me. Do I have any legal recourse? I don't want to push too hard for fear of retribution.

Yes, if the raise in your compensation and bonus was
in the form of a renewed and enforceable contract,
which the promisor is now allegedly reneging on,
then your remedy is to sue for your damages in the DC Superior Court.
