Legal Question in Employment Law in District of Columbia
Remuneration for Out-Of-Pocket Expenses
Does the following article create a binding obligation for the firm to assume the contractor's costs of transport and proper work attire?
''the Contractor
shall bill and _____ Inc. shall reimburse Contractor for all reasonable and approved out-of-pocket expenses which are
incurred in connection with the performance of Services hereunder.''

Would need to review the entire contract and relevant background facts relating to the issue in order to offer an opinion which even then might not be definitive on the matter.

The gist of attire is difficult unless express and transport is equally a problem because you must be somewhere to
perform.
