Landlord Abuse
My apartment is decrpit and needs repairs. Can I hold off paying my rent untill the repairs are done?

Not likely, but you could contact your local general district court to see
about asserting what's called a rent escrow account wherein you could pay your rent monies until the repair problems are taken care of by the landlord. (A hearing may be required
with notice to the landlord and an opportunity to be heard on the matter.)
