Roomate Responsiblity

I am currently active duty military. I wanted to add a roommate to the lease agreement. I am aware that if i am deployed i do not have to fufill the requirements of the lease. My question is ...Will my roommate be heald finacialy responsible for any remaining months of the lease?..Thank you

Yes, very likely so unless the roommate is also militarily deployed like yourself.
