Legal Question in Legal Ethics in District of Columbia

Trust fund

We have been told that a trust was set up for our family in the late 50's early 60's by American Bank and Trust which is no longer around. The terms of the trust were that once a family memeber passed, the trust would be dispensed. The family memeber passed a few weeks ago and we have heard nothing. The persons estate was being managed by someone and we have no idea what has happened. When should we expect to be notified and by whom?

Told by whom and when and under what circumstances? Until and unless you can answer these questions, I would not hold my breath(if I were you)waiting for any answers as to your last question.
