Legal Question in Personal Injury in District of Columbia
Bad Light
I have recently heard the terminology, ''BAD LIGHT'' used in a case that could not meet the standard for defamation, Libel, slander.
The willful, deliberate, and intentional misstatement of information with the intent to destroy one's reputation or otherwise cast that person in ''Bad Light''.
What are the geographical/jusidictional boundaries in a case such as this. Is such a case recognized in all courts?

Re: Bad Light
Who could possibly answer your question without
knowing more facts regarding the case you're talking about? Such as what court rendered the decision, when, etc, etc.
I can warrant with great certainty, however, that whatever case it may be that you're referring to,
the decision is most certainly not recognized in
all courts----however "bad the light" may have been.
