Grounds for Appeal

I want to know if the judge has the authority to make a person keep their seat during a personal injury proceedings (Trial)although the person is a handicapped individual diagnois with a condition by a medical physician that prohibits them from sitting for prolong periods of times without experiencing excruinating pain.

As you would expect, Judges have authority to control their court room. If the person is a party or witness, I would think that if the situation was explained to the judge, the Judge would make accomodations. Can the person get up and leave and walk around? There certainly should not be anything stopping them from getting up if the person is in pain. - Michael Worsham
