Legal Question in Real Estate Law in District of Columbia

Am I still legally bound to this contract?

Good evening, I closed on my condo

on 14 February 2007. Although I

noticed that the wrong building

number was on the closing

paperwork (724 instead of 742), I

still signed the paperwork because I

was told that this typo was going to

be corrected. Today, according to the

DC Tax office, my unit is still under

the seller's name and taxes are still

owed from last year. Six months

later and I have not received the title

yet. My tax credit paperwork cannot

be processed until this is fixed. I am

paying a mortgage on the correct

address but am I still legally bound to

the unit I live in since the paperwork

is wrong?

Re: Am I still legally bound to this contract?

Better contact the seller, the attorney who handled the closing and the title company to get it straightened out, one, or all three, if necessary.
