Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in District of Columbia

Hello,

I have a small business and a potential investor. The investor wants to place the money into a trust. I will be named as the Trustee of the trust and my question is can I designate my business as the principal beneficiary. We were interested in arranging a discretionary trust.

Perhaps, you should check first with this potential investor before making such a designation as, perhaps, s/he would prefer to be the principal beneficiary.
