For specific advice, people are better served by consulting with an attorney's office, either over the phone or in person, and by providing that office with a copy of the insurance card or the entire policy. That way the person giving the advice has all or most of the facts.
You can, however, use the following as a general guideline:
Up to the policy limit (generally $10,000.00), a percentage of your medical bills (80%)and lost wages (60%)will be paid by your own insurance policy under the PIP (Personal Injury Protection) provisions of your policy. If you have Medical Payments insurance, that will pay the other 20% of your medical bills up to its separate limits.
You will also want to make a claim under the uninsured/underinsured (UM/UIM) motorist provisions of your policy. UM is a pinch hitter. It steps in to substitute for the insurance the person causing the injuries should have had.
As to property damage to your vehicle, look to your insurance policy provisions addressing collision coverage.
Good luck.
