If I filed for bankruptcy over 5 years ago, (Chapter 7)and decided to sell my home this year will they garnish the proceeds from the sale of the house?

If your Bankruptcy was discharged without any problems you should be able to sell your house as soon as the case was discharged.

Under most cicumstances the proceeds are exempt.
