My brother is on felony probation in the state of Florida. He and I want to visit our grandparents in another state this summer. Is it likely that he could be given permission to leave the state to visit?

Usually a person can get permission to travel from their probation officer unless it's a serious offense or they have a bad record. Otherwise, he would need to do a motion with the Judge who placed him on probation asking permission to travel to a specific area for a specific time. An attorney may be needed for this motion. Best of luck to you.
