Legal Question in Social Security Law in Florida

I've been caring for my brother for several rs due to a permanent mental disability; He receives 1,700 monthly from soc sec disab...I have been working for over 30 years, From literature soc sec regularly sends if I were to become disabled I would be entitled to almost 1,900...I am a cancer survivor, worked through chemo etc However am having med problems and it's possible that it's back (hope not) IF big if) cancer has mets'd (come back) and I were to become physically disabled would he receive his entire amt and would I receive my entire amt or is there a limit on household income, that would possibly combine amounts and possibly lower total of monthly allotment? (Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst) just need to get my ducks in a row just in case Thank You

Social security disability (SSD) benefits paid based on an individual's earnings are not affected by household income. Your benefit amount would not be affected by his income. If his income is based on a wage earner's earning record, then his would not be affected either. Only SSI benefits are affected by household income.
