Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

ex-wife attorney requesting checking acct info

My husband and I filed contempt on his ex-wife due to her moving without 30 days notice and not allowing him to see his kids. She now has filed suit for more child support, increase in her divorce attorney's fees, she wants me to pay 100 % of my two childrens health insurance, and she is trying to get me to pay her new attorney's fees also. I received a mandatory disclosure requesting my checking and savings account information. However, the disclosure I found does not state that request on the list. I am the account holder on this account and I do not feel comfortable with them knowing my personal income. Do I have any rights on this?

Thank you,

Re: ex-wife attorney requesting checking acct info

Unfortunately the whole process is very intrusive. In short, yes, you have to file a financial disclosure form. If you don't comply with the request - you give the opposing party a potent weapon against you.
