Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

handyman has no insurance

I am on board of condo-we need some handyman work done. The man does not have insurance-is there a form I can use to have him sign to eliminate our Association from being responsible if he gets hurt on the job.

Re: handyman has no insurance

If he is true independent contrator, a properly drawn agreement exculpating condo association can be prepared. Not the best policy though to have uninsured individuals working at an association.

If I can assist, please let me know.
