Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

I got hurt at w ork lifting something heavy resulting in neck pain I was sent to tak

e mris of my neck it showed 2 slipped disk and a pinched nerve. I was sent to physical

Therapy, epidural shots and nothing seems to help the workers comp doctor said

There is nothing else he can do he cannot recomemd surgery because its a degenertive

Condition and he will no longer treat me. I have worked physical jobs my whole life

And never felt this pain before. Now can workers comp stop paying me my benefits

I can not return to work at this time because of the pain and numbnessm I am a

Mechanic.

The WC system in Florida stinks and keeps getting worse. It looks like you may need to change doctors or get an evaluation by a surgeon. You really need to see a good WC attorney about navigating the system to get the proper evaluation and care. If you merely ask your adjuster for a new doctor the adjuster will just consult their list of whore doctors to refer you to for a second option, most likely that doctor will also say that you don't need any more care.
