Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my husband was offered a misdemeanor intervention program in hillsborough county fl he has never been in trouble in florida .when we got home and read over the offered program we realized that it asked if there was any other criminal/traffic convictions nationally.he has but they were over 25 years ago.if they do a check will this come up and if it does will he be able to do the program

Your best bet is to be honest regarding any prior history. Odds are those charges will not disqualify him as long as he did not do an intervention program for them. However, many State Attorney's offices will reject you if they find you were dishonest on the application. Odds are they will run a rap sheet on him which will show the priors.
I agree with my colleague, Mr. Justice. I would imagine they are already aware of the charges. As I have told many clients, intervention is the best deal in the courthouse.
The program is discretionary.. These charges may disqualify him or they may overlook it given the length of time that has passed and the nature of the charges. Be honest. They will likely find the charges in a background search.
