we offerd 4,000 dollars to settle our mortage is this leagle for a mortage company to do or an attempt to just get more money from us they told us the loan had been written of but still on the books and if we pay them 4k they will send a letter to the deeds reorder stating they release all intrest in the house and the loan is satisfied, if this to good to be true or a scam
