Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida
Speeding Ticket
If a person is issued a ticket for speeding, but the officer does not give them a copy of the ticket, are they still obligated to pay for something that they have almost no information about?

Re: Speeding Ticket
A police officer would have no reason to hide the ticket. You might be mailed a copy of it. Perhaps the officer did not have all of their info with them at that time. Also, keep checking with the Clerk of Courts Of Miami-Dade to see if it or a date arises. If you miss it, and there was a citation, your license may be suspended for failure to respond or elect school or a fine.
