Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida
Worker's Comp and Medical Treatment
My husband has been on physical therapy since his shoulder surgery and has been ordered by the doctor to do a gym program in the physical therapy office for the next 6 months. The medical consult firm denied it, the medical director of the wc insurance company has denied it saying he can exercise at home and it is now in the hands of the wc adjuster to make the decision. In the event she doesn't approve it should we consult an attorney in order to appeal this decision or do we have to take this decision?

Re: Worker's Comp and Medical Treatment
You should not even wait for a decision from the adjuster to hire an attorney, you should do it now to protect your rights. There are things an attorney can do to influence how the adjuster may respond or handle such a matter. I encounrage you to immediate seek the advice of a competent workers compensation attorney.
