is workmans comp mandatory for all workers. if a worker works under 40hrs, by law does the employee have to supply workmans comp

In general, an Employer is obligated to provide workers' compensation insurance covering its employees for work related injuries if the employer has 3 or more employees. It does not matter if the employees are fill or part time, only the total number of employees.
