Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida

If I am out of the country and a tenant sues me, am I excused from appearing in court untill I return?

If you hire a lawyer to represent you you would not have to worrry about it. Otherwise, you file something with the judge asking to be excused until you are back in the country.
