Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida
My dad just died. He left no will. What am I legally obligated to do? I know he owes people money but not who. He has several vehicles that are just sitting on his property, I know he was paying payments for them but not who. He had credit card debts and he owed 100,000 on his mortgage. He didn't have anything to leave can I just walk away?

You can walk away. You have no obligation to act - in fact, don't do anything because once you do, you might create an obligation on yourself that you didn't previously have. If there are no assets, the creditors can force open a probate estate if they choose to do so.
