Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida

My employer has handicapped spaces located in various places around our building, however employees cannot park in any handicapped spaces except for in the designated "employee" lot. My work location is at the other end of the building and this is a hardship for me. There are many handicapped spaces near my work location in the building, but I am not allowed to park there even with my permit under threat of being terminated. Is this legal?
