Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida
What is the legal definition of 'parental kidnapping' for the state of Florida? My husband just moved to North Carolina as we have just split up. My 7 year old son and I are residents of Fl. He had threatened to come and snatch him from school and take off with him...and I may or may not know where he would take him. Thank you so much!

You need to file for full or sole custody for your husband's intended actions to amount to kidnapping. If neither of you have legal custody, your son' s father would merely be picking your son up from school and he could file for custody and keep your son until the end of the custody determination.
