Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida
I am a nursing student, and was failed the last day of clinicals for being 2 minutes late, because of a medical problem I had on the way there. It is a recent medical problem I have seen a doctor for, and it involves me near fainting. I saw the doctor on tuesday of this week and was 2 minutes late and dismissed on thursday of this week. Is it legal for them to fail me due to this medical problem that caused me to have to pull over while driving and to be two minutes late? I am especially upset about this because i had already taken and passed the final exam for the course and this was the final day of the clinical, and I will now have to repeat the entire class as well as pay over 1000.00 dollars for it.
