Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida
we are renters, lease not up for 5 months, fiance is legally disabled, doctor recommends certain modifications to apt or just move somewhere else. I'd like to just move, any ideas on getting out of lease?

Since ADA law requires certain accommodations be available for people with special needs, I would recommend presenting the apartment complex with a long list of accommodation requirements and give them a reason time in your letter to comply. Have your doctor provide a letter that you can attach with yours. You can end the letter noting if they feel they cannot comply and make the apartment barrier free and accessible you are willing to discuss an option of mutual agreement to terminate the lease which will allow you to find accomodations suitable for your fiance.
