Legal Question in Administrative Law in Florida
I am considering a name change to add a longtime nickname as a second middle name. No other part of my name would be changed or deleted. What steps would I need to take to do this and how much would it cost? Would I need to hire an attorney to do the paperwork for me?

You can do it yourself, but it might be difficult. You can hire an attorney to do it for you. It involves filing a petition with the Judge, and getting an Order legally changing your name. My partner does family law, and he can help you with getting this process done.
