Legal Question in Administrative Law in Florida
Joint CD rights
My ex husband and I had a joint CD, in both names as: 'or'. I cashed it and opened another in my name only. He is threatening to take me to court because he says the money to invest was his and not mine. Is there anyway he could take my property, (only in my name); put a lien or get a judgment against me? Would this be considered 'joint' funds, (regardless of whose money it was) and either/or could legally cash the CD?

Re: Joint CD rights
Suffice it to say, I would gladly represent your ex. This was a real stunt you pulled. The judge should slap you silly.
