Legal Question in Administrative Law in Florida
''Small Claim's Court Judges''
My Case has been in the judges chambers now for almost two months. We call the clerk of court just about every day. All they say is that it is still in the Judge's chambers. I wanted to know how long it could take for the Judge to come up with a verdict. I don't know what the next step is.
Thank You

Re: ''Small Claim's Court Judges''
I believe it is either 60 or 90 days. You need to read the Florida Rules of Judicial ADministration and it will have your answer. When that happens I usually write the court a courtesy letter of reminder, citing the rule and requesting a decision in the most respectful and humble way possible, because you do not want an adverse ruling. When you send the letter you must furnish the other side with a copy.
Good luck.
