Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Florida

appeal- no answer brief

I am a pro se and trying to write and appeal- initial brief on the Final judgement of resolution of marriage. My husband had an counsel during the trial, but the counsed send me a letter that she does not represent him any more since the final judgement. If I file the initial brief and he would not rehire attorney to write an answear brief and lets it go, would it somehow affect the outcome of the appealate rulling?

Re: appeal- no answer brief

If he does not file an answer brief, it could affect the outcome. The court would read your brief and, if they agree with you, reverse the case. If they do not agree with you, they will affirm the case.
