Using appeal results from a different state as precedent

If I have an appeal pending in my state (Florida), can I use appeal results from similiar cases in another state as precedent in my case? Or am I just restricted to legal cases and results in Florida?

The Florida cases are controlling for Florida state law cases, however, if there are no Florida cases on your topic cases from other states can be persuasive even if not binding. But, you just can't ignore the Florida cases that you don't like.
