Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Florida
repossesion of a motor vehicle by private citizens
I bought a new car for my then roommate, she verbally agreed to make all payments and insurance on it. she has not. The car is entirely in my name, how do I get it back without filing a civil suit? All payments have been made by me. I attempted to have it towed, she got into the car and driver could not tow it. She left me no address or phone number, I only know her employers location and information,

Have the title and registration in your pocket and HAVE IT TOWED ... then have a shop change the locks ... then keep it locked.
