Legal Question in Banking Law in Florida
my mother got a credit card in my name and ran up almost $20,000 in charges then closed the account leaving me holding the bill is there anything I can do to get this off my credit? I never signed for it and was not living there at the time

You need to advise the credit card people and call the police to report the crime.
