Legal Question in Banking Law in Florida
My mother has made my sister her power-of-attorney.
My mother also put my sister on her cecking account.
When my mother passes will my sister have all rights to mother's checking account or will the account be evenly distributed to mother's siblings?

It depends how the checking account was actually set up and titled. If it is a convenience account, then the sister has no right to it, othan than how it may end up being distributed as part of your mother's estate. However, if the account gives your sister survivorship rights, then she may be entitled to the whole thing.
