Legal Question in Banking Law in Florida

Privacy violation

I have a situation where my bank gave personal information about my account balance and transactions to a third party - one of whom they were aware were trying to get my information and assured me my information would be safe. I do not know if I have a case or what type of attorney I need, can you help?

Re: Privacy violation

You may have a case against the Bank under both State and Fedral law depending on the violation, the evidence you have documenting a violation and if you can prove some damages. Some violations carry a flat presumed statutory damage award but each case is fact sensitive.

I would get with counsel-it shouldn't cost anything for the intial consultation and the statutes carry attorney fee provisions
