Legal Question in Banking Law in Florida
I am going to be served a summons in the near future I am sure.
once I found out of the civil action against me [3-4months ago]I immediately went to a lawyer and will file for bankruptcy [I am 77 years old, only source of income ss]
I will answer summons once I get it [20 days, and attorney advising me]
my question is if I have to go to court and the plaintiff will win, should I tell the judge I am in process of filing bankruptcy [I expect to have fee paid by july 2017]

You may not need to file Bankruptcy. You should check with your lawyer about that, especially if all you have is your SS Income.
