Legal Question in Banking Law in Florida
sued by credit card company
greetings,
my credit card company sued me in small claims court- but I have not been served the papers oficially.
What happens if I don't show up?
Will the get a default judgement against me or will the reschedule the hearing?

You should review the relevant rules for your county at the county website. Courts have very little patience with anyone they believe are avoiding service. The bank must also fulfill its responsibility to reasonably attempt service, but the county website will give you an idea of what service involves.
