Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
I'm 2 months behind on my chapter. 13 bankruptcy...for my home. I want to know what happens if I don't get caught up, will the court dismiss and kick me out and still make me pay for the house? I'm debating if I want to try to keep or just move on. And what the consequences will be.
Thanks, Jill

If you are already in a Chapter 13, you should address this question to your attorney. If you don't make the payments required under the Plan, the court will, in the absence of unsusual circumstances, dismiss your case. It is then up to you to deal with your creditors. The Court will not order you to pay for your house if you do not want to keep it.
